Xavier joined Kareg in 2021 as Senior Advisor. He started his career in 1981 at the International Department of the Bank of the European Union, where he supports French exporters in emerging countries. He then created his own management company, FP Consult, specializing in investing in the sovereign debts of emerging countries. In 1998, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Fortis Investment Management France and CIO of Alternative Investments of the Fortis Group, then founded Alteram in 2001 and became Chairman of the Management Board from 2006 to 2020 of the La Française Group (formerly UFG, La Française des Placements and Alteram ). Senior Advisor of Banque Rothschild, he currently chairs the IEIF (Institute of Real Estate and Property Savings). Xavier Lépine holds a DEA in International Economics and Finance and a Masters in Economics (Paris IX Dauphine).
